This story is a murder mystery and a tale of obsession. There were definitely aspects of it that made me go “hmmm, I wonder why this is in here,” but again, I just went with it. I didn’t know that going in, and because I was reading off duty, I just sort of went with the story. This book is part of the Big Twist genre of thrillers.
